Wisdom can’t be taught. It must be assembled in one’s own mind, and own time.

Charles,

Whoops. Sometimes when you do your own editing you miss these things. Thanks a lot for the pointer!

max,

You don't. Truth is ultimately something you've decided upon.

i agree that truth can only be learned through experience. There are some questions that arose in me as I read this. Objectively, how can one tell if the truth you learn yourself is true? If you try to tell a truth to someone else, would they believe it as you did? The dabate over what a certain truth is depends on your personal knowledge and personal beliefs. If you went back in time and told a scientist from one to two hundred years ago that there was a cure for smallpox, would they believe you? Would someone who didnt know what a computer was believe what you told them even if you didnt have on to show them? Even today, if you ask a person who practices Judaism if Jesus was the Messaih, would they believe you? I dont think so. Please post a response. Thank you.

Thanks Yogi,

I'll look into adding the navigation links when I get a chance. You can check out the archive or simply scan the entries with www.scotthyoung.com/blog until then.

Hi Scott,

A very nice article, and for me came at the right time too.

Anyway, a suggestion. Would you mind adding some navigation buttons to your blog so that your readers can go from one post to another (previous and next). I always have to go to the archive and then navigate.

Thanks for all the effort and time you are putting for helping people,
Yogi
