This is another good post from Leo. Having read quite a bit about the power of positive attitude from various sources, I have thought about why it makes it makes such a huge difference to an individual though the situation round him (the external stuff over which he /she has no control) remains the same. The answer lies in Ralph W Emerson's immortal words, "...that he must take himself for better, for worse, as his portion; that though the wide universe is full of good, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him but through his toil bestowed on that plot of ground which is given to him to till."
