Ass-Kicking Email – Start Off with a 30 Day Trial!
Hey,
In this week’s email:
1. Start your semesters off right to avoid the exam crunch
2. Set a new 30-Day Trial in the forums

Many students get into a familiar trap. New term is starting, and
exams are far away. They take life easy, miss a few concepts in
the class, maybe skip a few readings and then midterms roll around.
By this time many students are in a panic. Cramming before. Lousy
grades follow.
You can skip all of that without sacrificing your personal life.
The key is to get organized and productive from the beginning, so
you don’t need to correct old habits later. And, since you’ll be
making regular investments into your mental bank account, you won’t
be bankrupt when exams come.
—
The best time to get effective habits in is when there is a change.
During this time, you’re already forcing yourself to adapt, so you
might as well form useful habits when they are easy to mold.
These change points are great opportunities that can come up
whenever you: move to a new home, start school, stop school, end
a semester or otherwise have a dramatic break in your routine.
Capitalize on these change points, since it may result in a little
work early on, but a lot less later.
Here are a few things to think about when taking advantage of the
breath of fresh air a change can bring:
1. What’s my morning routine like?
2. Is my schoolwork organized?
3. What study pattern will I follow?
4. What are my goals, and what am I doing each day to reach them?
Getting these questions right is much easier when a change of
setting is forcing you to adjust anyways.

On that note, I invite everyone here to start a new 30-Day Trial
in the forums:
